Just get over it.

I’ve been having an ongoing conversation with a few friends about an issue we’re collectively working on. It’s not a good issue. We know this. And we know we really need to stop talking about it and focusing on it. We know we really need to let it go. But, for some reason, we’re stuck on it and can’t seem to shake it. In other words, we’re keeping this thing that isn’t serving us in our vibration. Now the funny thing is, every time we talk about it for like ½ and hour, we suddenly say, ‘Okay, we need to stop talking about this once and for all! We need to let this stuff go and stop it from bringing more of like stuff to us!’ But then we don’t.
So what is it about the human mind that can’t seem to do this? Why, when we know something isn’t serving us, do we still wrestle with it? I have a friend who I talk Law of Attraction with all the time. We disagree on one thing when it comes to the L of A. She feels that when you realize something is going on with you, you need to find the source of that issue if you will, and really dig in to it. Really figure out why it came up, what it all means, how it’s affecting you, etc. I always tell her (lovingly…) that I disagree. Once I figure out what’s going on, or why something is going on, I’m usually relieved and have that ‘a-ha’ moment because I’m now aware of it. Then I do my damndest to let it go! I don’t want to wallow in it and keep that stuff in my vibration. Usually. Again, for some reason, I can’t seem to do that about this particular issue.
The other day, I was doing a card reading for a client and the big message that came through was ‘Let. It. Go.’ And, of course, I started to laugh. You see, we always say that when we give a session, we get a session. In other words, when I’m passing on the messages I’m receiving on behalf of my clients from God/Spirit/Universe or their animals, there’s usually something in that message for me too. Then there’s this. As I was sitting down wondering what to write in this post, my email dinged. I glanced over and saw it was my morning Abraham-Hicks quote:
“It should only be talked about if the talking will make you feel better. It is of no value, ever, to activate and talk about something that doesn’t feel good, because it reactivates it in your vibration; it makes it another point of your point of attraction so you’re less clear.”
After reading that, I reached out to both of my friends, my co-creators in this thing we need to let go of, and both of them had already seen it.
I’m thinking we all just got over it.
